CANDLE CARE

LET IT BURN

Soy wax has a memory, so be sure to burn your candle long enough for the melt pool to spread across the entire surface of the container, especially the first time. This helps your candle burn evenly and prevents tunneling or wasted wax.

TRIM THE WICK

It’s important to trim the wick to about 1/4" before each burn for a clean, safe flame. This helps minimize soot and prolongs the life of your candle.
For longer burn sessions, re-trim the wick after several hours to remove carbon buildup and maintain an even, consistent burn.

KEEP IT CENTERED

If the wick shifts after extinguishing, gently re-center it while the wax is still soft. You can use a wick centering tool, tweezers, or a wick bar to keep it aligned. A centered wick helps your candle burn evenly and safely.

EXTINGUISH WITH CARE

To extinguish your candle, place the lid on top instead of blowing it out. This helps minimize smoke and prevents wax splatter for a cleaner, more refined finish. You can also use a candle snuffer for a gentle, low-smoke extinguish.

BURN TIME & SAFETY

For the best experience, burn your candle for 3–4 hours at a time. Avoid burning longer than 4 hours, as this can cause the container to overheat and affect burn quality. Always burn within sight on a heat-resistant surface and away from drafts, children, and pets. Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains.

REUSE YOUR JARS

After you’ve fully enjoyed your candle, follow these steps to clean out your jar so you can recycle or reuse it any way you like. They also make great planters!

Step 1: Fill the jar with warm water and allow the remaining wax to soften and rise to the surface.

Step 2: Once softened, gently remove the wax using a spoon or utensil.

Step 3: Remove the wick and wash off the label with warm, soapy water.
